  • A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) is a document that provides you with a clear breakdown of the expected  costs of your therapy sessions. It is part of the No Surprises Act, designed to help clients better  understand and plan for the financial aspect of their care.

As a self pay client, you have the right to receive a GFE that outlines:

    - The cost of your therapy sessions

    - An estimate o how frequently we might meet based on your needs and goals

    - The total estimated cost of care over a specified period of time.

The estimate is not a binding contract; it’s a tool to give you transparency and help you make informed  financial decisions. The actual cost of care may vary depending on changes in frequency of sessions.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, please visit www.cms.gov/ nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

If you have any further questions about the GFE, I would be happy to walk you through it.

  • Absolutely! I offer a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation to see if we are a good fit to  work together.

  • Our first appointment is an opportunity for the two of us to connect and for me to learn about you, why  you are seeking support, what you are hoping to achieve, and take the time to get to know each other.  The therapeutic relationship is often the most important factor.

  • I typically recommend weekly sessions to start if both of our schedules allow for this and later  decreasing to every other week sessions. Clients who attend therapy regularly tend to get the most out  their sessions and see progress faster.

I am very collaborative in my approach, so we will work together to determine a frequency that will work  best and feel supportive to you.
